Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience working with equine preferred.
• Experience with equine health issues and behavior including unknown health cases preferred.
• Equine training experience preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
• Ability to lift or move up to 100 lbs and work in barn environments.
• Background Check required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily care, cleanliness, and enrichment to animals in care and maintain common areas.
• Load/unload animals for transport to foster, veterinarian, or rescue partners.
• Administer medications or treatments under veterinarian direction.
• Monitor health and behavior of animals and record observations in PetPoint.
• Supervise volunteers to ensure safe, clean, and pleasant environment.
• Provide professional customer service to visitors, donors, and volunteers.
• Support facility and grounds maintenance and inventory management.
