Job summary

AlohaCare is seeking an EPSDT RN Coordinator to serve as liaison between the Med Quest Division and AlohaCare, ensuring timely access and coordination of EPSDT services for members who qualify. This role requires Hawaii RN licensure, clinical experience, and the ability to work across departments.

You will coordinate programs, develop procedures, provide training, and participate in QA activities while traveling within Oahu as needed. Salary ranges reflect Hawaii market norms.

Qualifications

• Licensed RN in the State of Hawaii.
• Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience.
• Ability to assess, evaluate and interpret medical information.
• Understanding of pediatric health care concepts.
• Ability to work independently and coordinate with others.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinates EPSDT program for the health plan.
• Attends EPSDT Advisory Committee meetings and communicates information to owners.
• Develops Desk Level Procedures (DLPs) and revises EPSDT policies.
• Ensures CMS 416 and dental reports are completed timely.
• Develops and implements EPSDT Program and Evaluation.
• Collaborates with Population Health Management and other departments for Keiki Wellness.
• Represents AlohaCare at community EPSDT functions.
• Provides annual training to providers/staff on EPSDT.
• Educates providers through mailings and Provider Newsletter articles.
• Coordinates member care when PCPs request care for delayed EPSDT visits.
• Identifies members with delayed EPSDT services from reports or site visits.
• Educates targeted members through outreach.
• Participates in Quality Improvement activities (HEDIS, CAHPS, etc.).
• Drives target outreach related to MQD EPSDT requirements.
• Adheres to regulatory compliance and confidentiality.
