FirstEnergy Corp. is seeking a senior role in the Compliance & Industry Engagement group within Transmission & Substation Support.

You will drive FE's involvement with EPRI, identify SME engagement, and manage proposals, metrics, and communications to FE leadership. The position emphasizes leadership of R&D portfolios, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to deliver technical strategies that align with FE's grid modernization initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field.
• Minimum of 8 years of experience.
• Leadership of research and development programs or portfolios.
• Direct experience at an electric utility or with utility engagement.
• Strong communication: executive presence, clear writing, and project facilitation.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate EPRI engagement across FE with subject matter experts.
• Co-administrator of EPRI program (METT).
• Manage annual portfolio including program funding, administration, and product credit utilization.
• Understand other programs at EPRI and FE portfolio fit.
• Perform complex analysis with minimal direction and supervision.
• Work with EPRI staff and engage with members and industry.
