Job summary

Hubbell Incorporated is actively seeking a Paint Operator to prepare surfaces and apply epoxy and urethane wet paints, delivering high-grade finishes on parts and products.

In this role, you will mask components, adjust spray gun settings, apply coats, maintain equipment, and follow safety procedures. You will collaborate with the production team to meet quality standards and contribute to continuous improvement on the shop floor.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 1+ years of relevant painting experience preferred.
• Ability to operate spray equipment safely and precisely.

Responsibilities

• Apply masking tape and caps to protect parts not to be coated.
• Apply epoxy and urethane coatings to surfaces.
• Adjust spray gun valves to regulate width and pressure.
• Pull trigger to apply prime or finish coats.
• Clean and maintain spray equipment and booths.
• Suggest improvements to supervisors for the workflow.
• Follow written and verbal instructions from leads and supervisors.
• Operate equipment safely and inspect own work for quality.
