Job summary

IBP’s Garage Outfitters unit seeks an onsite epoxy flooring installer to lead crews, prepare surfaces, and apply coatings across residential and commercial projects in Vermont and nearby areas. You will mentor installers, ensure safety compliance, and maintain quality from prep to finish.

Travel to sites is frequent; OSHA-10 and respirator fit testing are required, along with a valid Vermont license and clear driving record. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• OSHA-10 certification or proof of completion.
• Ability to wear a respirator and pass fit testing.
• Commitment to a substance-free work environment.
• Experience with basic construction techniques.
• Ability to apply coatings using brushes and rollers.
• Ability to read chemical data sheets and follow instructions.
• Valid Vermont driver's license and clean driving record.
• Strong team communication and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Lead crews, coordinate daily activities and ensure safety and quality.
• Review project docs to align with scope, timelines, and quality.
• Oversee surface preparation and resinous flooring installation.
• Inspect work for compliance with specs and customer expectations.
• Travel daily to project sites in Vermont and Northern NY; occasional overnight stays.
