Job summary

IES Communications in the United States (Aiken, SC) is seeking a Project Manager - EPMS / Security Systems to lead Electrical Power Monitoring Systems, access control, CCTV and low-voltage infrastructure projects from kickoff to closeout.

The role requires coordinating with customers, subcontractors and internal teams while ensuring safety, schedule, cost control and quality. You will drive project profitability and maintain alignment with customer requirements and industry standards.

Qualifications

• Strong project management experience in technical infrastructure, EPMS, security systems, or low-voltage projects.
• Ability to manage multiple projects with budget and schedule performance.
• Experience with project financial management, forecasting, change orders, and job cost reporting.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, and customer relationship management skills.
• Experience coordinating internal teams, subcontractors, vendors, and customers.
• Knowledge of construction methodologies, installation practices, and commissioning processes.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, project scheduling software, and project management tools.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Lead all project phases from kickoff through closeout, ensuring scope, schedule, budget, quality, and customer expectations are met.
• Develop and manage budgets, forecasts, labor utilization, and material expenditures; monitor profitability.
• Serve as primary customer contact; conduct meetings and provide status updates, risk assessments, and executive reports.
• Recruit, train, and develop project personnel; manage staffing, subcontractors, and resources.
• Oversee EPMS, access control, CCTV, intrusion detection, and integrated security platforms including installation, testing, and turnover.
• Enforce safety policies, monitor quality, and ensure compliance with codes and standards.
• Assist with estimates, proposals, budgeting, preconstruction planning, and business development.
