Job summary

Ellsworth Corporation is seeking a Part-time ePlus Field Inventory Specialist in the Los Angeles area. You will monitor and maintain inventory at customer locations using VMI, ensuring FIFO rotation and accurate receipts. This role requires travel within assigned customers and collaboration with customers to address demand changes.

Responsibilities

• Perform inventory transactions for lot-controlled and non-lot-controlled items using FIFO.
• Validate inbound shipments against pack slips and receipts.
• Conduct cycle counts and reconcile with VMI records.
• Maintain account attribute master documents for each customer location.
• Interact with customer contacts to anticipate demand fluctuations and issues.

Performs periodic reviews of product lot and shelf-life information to ensure proper inventory rotation using First In, First Out (FIFO) and scrap mitigation.RESPONSIBILITIESAccurately performs inventory transactions for lot controlled and non-lot-controlled inventory following FIFO methods while understanding the difference between Manufacturer and internal lot numbersValidates inbound shipment against pack slip and open receipt. Completes processing of receipt VMI and performs put away in designated customer inventory storage locationsReviews shelf-life reports and communicates potential issues with team members and/or customers. Scraps material out when appropriate and follows customer specified disposal proceduresPerforms and reconciles cycle counts to compare VMI inventory to actual inventory on handProactively seeks out and interacts with key customer contacts to understand demand fluctuations and potential impact on inventory levels. Identifies and troubleshoots onsite issues and works collaboratively to resolve, escalating when necessaryMaintains Account Attribute master document for each customer location. Edits document based on changes in the account / location relationship.
