Job summary

UCB is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) to cover the Rockies, focusing on Epilepsy and Rare Syndromes. This role involves engaging with key investigators, KOLs, and patient groups to advance scientific understanding and support patient care.

The MSL will travel 60-80% within the Rockies and reside in the territory. A doctoral degree and at least 3 years of MSL experience are required, with a hybrid-first work approach that combines field time and office collaboration.

Qualifications

• Doctoral degree required (PharmD, PhD, or MD).
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an MSL.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel 60-80% in territory.
• Must reside within the territory.

Responsibilities

• Stay current with research and clinical data related to epilepsy and rare syndromes.
• Execute targeted stakeholder engagement strategies to identify local needs and opportunities.
• Provide meaningful medical insights to support medical strategies and initiatives.
• Represent UCB at scientific conferences and educational events.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to enhance patient care and contribute to medical projects as needed.
• May lead or support other Medical Affairs projects or activities as assigned.
