Job summary

Stony Brook University in New York seeks faculty in the Division of Epilepsy within the Neurology department to join a growing academic group. The role includes inpatient EMU coverage, supervision of residents and APPs, and expanding outpatient epilepsy services.

Ideal candidates will have an MD/DO, NY licensure eligibility, and board certification or eligibility in Neurology, with fellowship training in Epilepsy or Neurophysiology.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree with New York State licensure eligibility.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Neurology.
• Completion of an accredited Neurology Epilepsy or Neurophysiology fellowship.

Responsibilities

• Coverage of inpatient Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU).
• Favorable weekend and overnight call responsibilities shared among faculty.
• Supervision of neurology residents, Advanced Practice Providers, and students.
• Contribute to growth of outpatient epilepsy practice.
• Opportunities to develop clinical, educational, or research programs.
