Qualifications

• Advanced degree in epidemiology, pharmacoepidemiology, public health, biostatistics or related field; doctoral with 6+ years or master’s with 8+ years preferred.
• Practical experience conducting epidemiology or real-world evidence studies within life sciences or related settings.
• Experience in drug development and observational research across development and commercialization.
• Ability to design, conduct, and interpret complex observational studies.
• Understanding regulatory and payer evidence requirements.
• Strong collaboration, communication, influencing, and project management in matrixed environments.

Responsibilities

• Partner with cross-functional teams to inform program strategies and integrated evidence plans.
• Provide epidemiology expertise to support asset strategies, development plans, regulatory activities, lifecycle planning, and launch readiness.
• Generate and interpret evidence to inform indication prioritization, population estimates, patient segmentation, trial feasibility, endpoints, and development planning.
• Identify and evaluate data sources including claims data, EHRs, registries, natural history datasets, biobanks, and other real-world data assets.
• Design and execute observational studies using appropriate methods and analytic approaches.
• Author and review scientific materials including protocols, analysis plans, study reports, publications, and regulatory submissions.
• Manage research partners and vendors to deliver high-quality studies on time and within budget.
• Apply innovative technologies and methods such as digital tools, AI-enabled approaches, data visualization to strengthen evidence generation.
