Job summary

Dartmouth College in Lebanon, NH seeks a Research Project Coordinator to support the NIH-funded Environmental influences on Children’s Health Outcome (ECHO) birth cohort study. The role coordinates recruitment, data collection, and multi-site activities with minimal supervision.

You will ensure data integrity, participant engagement, and timely reporting while adhering to protocols and safety training requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in health or social sciences, or the equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
• 5 years’ experience coordinating research projects,Recruiting and interviewing participants or comparable experience.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate a complex research project with minimal supervision.
• Demonstrates independence and responsibility for timely completion of activities.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Suite and web-based applications.
• Ability to apply critical thinking and sound judgment to address open-ended problems.
• Superior verbal communication and writing skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
• Must complete educational requirements for Dartmouth IRB and safety training; valid driver’s license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Recruit and enroll study participants remotely and in person.
• Coordinate recruitment activities using established study protocols.
• Implement research activities including surveys, data collection, and management.
• Maintain high level of research professionalism to retain participants.
• Provide education on informed consent, materials, and follow-up per protocols.
• Coordinate samples with laboratories and ensure data delivery per protocol.
• Enter accurate study data in databases in a timely manner.
