Job summary

Advent Services is seeking an Epidemiologist at Wright-Patterson AFB, OH. Monday–Friday schedule with standard public health hours and a focus on surveillance data analysis and outbreak investigations.

Responsibilities include coordinating data access, supporting IRB proposals, and creating analytical reports for USAFSAM/PHR and base-level stakeholders. Strong background in epidemiology and data systems is required.

Qualifications

• Master's degree or higher in Public Health or Epidemiology and strong knowledge of epidemiology.
• Contractor personnel must be HIPAA trained or complete training within one month of employment.
• Experience with health surveillance systems specified in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Analyze surveillance databases (ESSENCE, DRSi) to assess health status of USAF population.
• Assist in designing written communications for internal and external purposes.
• Advise military team leaders on outbreak investigations and coordinate public health research.
• Assist in data collection to support USAFSAM/PHR’s mission.
• Oversee data requests and provide data-related support services.
