Job summary
Laredo Technical Services, Inc. seeks an Epidemiologist for the 711th Human Performance Wing at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio.
The role involves integrating epidemiological data, developing decision-support systems, and translating public health data into actionable intel for commanders. The candidate will work M-F 0730-1630 with possible after-hours tasks; must be a US citizen with a master’s in public health or related field, strong stats skills, and experience with surveillance
Qualifications
- US citizenship required.
- Master’s Degree or higher in Public Health, Epidemiology or Biostatistics with strong epidemiology knowledge.
- HIPAA training current or to be completed within one month of employment.
- Experience with health surveillance systems and data repositories.
Responsibilities
- Integrate PH data from surveillance and clinical systems to enable MDC2 capabilities.
- Provide technical support for data integration across multiple systems.
- Develop and maintain knowledge management data dictionary.
- Design and implement dashboards to translate PH data into actionable intelligence.
- Document code and macros for DSS to ensure reproducibility and compliance.
- Develop analytical models linking PH data to mission outcomes.
- Assist in identifying PH research and surveillance priorities.
