Job summary

Bering-Alaka`ina Holdings, LLC is seeking an Epidemiologist to support a government customer in San Antonio, TX. The role focuses on developing and managing data pipelines, ensuring data quality, and maintaining HIPAA compliance while accessing health data.

The incumbent will interpret data products and contribute to publications and dashboards. Requirements include a Master's in Epidemiology, at least two years in the field, and five years using SAS/EG or SQL.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree in Epidemiology required.
• Minimum two years’ experience in epidemiology or related field.
• Minimum five years using SAS/EG or SQL.
• HIPAA training current to access medical data.
• Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage data pipelines for Aeromedical Waiver data to DHA AVHE.
• Ensure data quality, accessibility, compliance, and security.
• Interpret and access data products from AWARE team and related publications.
• Validate and verify data products; assist in model performance corrections.
• Draft internal and external communications and briefings.
• Present findings at meetings and conferences; support dissemination of study results.
