Job summary

Planet Group in Michigan is seeking a hands-on Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) Systems Analyst to own configuration, reporting, and process improvements across sales, purchasing, inventory, warehouse, production, and accounting.

You will administer P21, develop SQL reports, customize with DynaChange, train users, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business needs into practical ERP solutions. Hybrid onsite role with local candidates able to work onsite.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on Epicor Prophet 21 (P21) experience as a power user or systems analyst.
• Strong knowledge of P21 configuration and core distribution workflows (order entry, purchasing, inventory, receiving, production orders).
• Ability to configure and support P21 without reliance on outside consultants for routine changes.
• Proven experience writing SQL queries and developing reports (SSRS or Crystal Reports).
• Proficiency in C#/.NET, including developing and testing DynaChange business rules.
• Experience training ERP users and documenting procedures for nontechnical audiences.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and data integrity focus; disciplined testing and documentation.
• Degree or equivalent experience in IS/CS/Business or related field.

Responsibilities

• P21 Administration & user support: manage users, permissions, and data standards.
• SQL Reporting: build ad hoc reports, dashboards, and data extracts; reuse reports.
• DynaChange customization: modify screens, defaults, and permissions; develop business rules in C#/.NET.
• User training & documentation: create guides and training materials; build super users.
• Business process improvement: partner with teams to streamline distribution and production workflows.
• Data integrity & controls: audit data, manage imports, mass updates, safeguard accuracy.
• Testing & change management: document changes, test thoroughly, coordinate support tickets.
