Job summary

Aerodyn Engineering is seeking an Epicor Resource / Machine Shop Scheduler in Indianapolis to own the production schedule for its aerospace machine shop. You’ll match job routers to the right machines, keep Epicor in step with floor activity, and work with the Shop Floor Supervisor to protect on-time delivery in a fast-changing R&D environment.

Shift options include 1st shift. You will collaborate with manufacturing leadership and provide capacity for new orders, driving solutions to scheduling

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• Manufacturing experience in a job shop.
• Experience with Epicor or similar MRP/ERP software preferred.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Manage Epicor Kinetic production schedule and keep it accurate.
• Match job routers to machines based on capacity and quality.
• Confirm tooling, hours, and fixturing are ready before jobs reach the machine.
• Review and release production jobs in Epicor.
• Track part status with Shop Floor Supervisor and update schedule.
• Provide capacity for new orders and flag resource conflicts.
• Meet with manufacturing leadership to address scheduling constraints.
• Log recurring scheduling issues and drive resolutions.
