Job summary

Independent School District 272 Eden Prairie is seeking a Youth Programs EPIC Paraprofessional to support CMS Mornings and EPIC enrichment activities. This casual, as-needed role has hours varying with student enrollment and program needs.

Responsibilities include assisting students, communicating with staff and parents, following the teacher's plan, and maintaining confidentiality across district-wide programs.

Qualifications

• Strong reading, writing and math skills are required.
• Ability to communicate effectively with students, staff and parents.
• Ability to problem solve and be sensitive to academically challenged students.
• Ability to supervise children in a positive manner.
• Knowledge of discipline policies and procedures.
• Ability to follow the teacher's plan and monitor situations in the classroom.

Responsibilities

• Support CMS Mornings as needed.
• Assist students and staff during EPIC activities.
