Job summary

PDS Health in California's Irvine is seeking an Epic Operations SME to optimize Epic workflows, translate business requirements into workflow solutions, and build a roadmap for enhancements across dental and medical practice operations.

You will partner with Operations leadership, IT, and cross-functional teams to support upgrades, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive adoption of changes that improve patient experience across multiple systems.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Arts/Sciences (MA/MS) or 8+ years of related experience.
• Epic Ambulatory proficiency or certification.
• QSI/CPS proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Translate operational business requirements into Epic workflow solutions with stakeholders.
• Own ongoing optimization of Epic Operational workflows and drive improvements.
• Design and develop new Epic workflows to meet operational needs.
• Scope business needs to build and maintain a prioritized Epic roadmap.
• Support Epic upgrades by assessing impact and coordinating rollout.
• Act as Operations SME on all Epic processes and advise cross-functional teams.
• Lead integration efforts for medical and dental workflows.
• Bridge IT and Operations, balancing feasibility with operational realities.
• Advise EPMO on scope, risk, and timelines for Operations projects.
• Communicate workflow changes to stakeholders to drive adoption.
• Collaborate with Learning & Development to update training content.
• Monitor Epic vendor releases for process improvement opportunities.
• Other duties as assigned and ensure regulatory compliance.
