Job summary

ClinDCast, LLC seeks an Epic Willow Inpatient Analyst to design, configure, implement, and support the Willow Inpatient module within the Epic EHR. The role partners with pharmacy leadership, clinicians, IT and vendors to ensure safe inpatient medication workflows and regulatory compliance.

You will manage configuration, testing, go-live support, and ongoing optimization with pharmacy teams and IT, ensuring documentation and adherence to Joint Commission standards.

Qualifications

• Epic Willow Inpatient certification (or ability to obtain certification within required timeframe).
• Experience supporting Epic Willow Inpatient or inpatient pharmacy systems.
• Strong understanding of inpatient pharmacy workflows and medication management.
• Experience with system configuration, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Configure, build, and maintain Epic Willow Inpatient functionality and workflows.
• Analyze current-state pharmacy workflows and translate needs into Epic design.
• Support decision support tools (order sets, alerts, medication records, barcode administration).
• Collaborate with pharmacists, nursing staff, and physicians to optimize processes.

Job Summary

The Epic Willow Inpatient Analyst is responsible for the design, build, configuration, implementation, and ongoing support of the Epic Willow Inpatient (pharmacy) module. This role partners with pharmacy leadership, clinicians, IT teams, and vendors to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant inpatient medication workflows within the Epic EHR.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, build, and maintain Epic Willow Inpatient functionality, including medication orders, dispensing, verification, and administration workflows
• Analyze current-state pharmacy workflows and translate business needs into Epic system design
• Support clinical decision support tools (order sets, alerts, medication records, barcode medication administration)
• Collaborate with pharmacists, nursing staff, and physicians to optimize inpatient medication processes
• Perform system testing, unit testing, integrated testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Troubleshoot and resolve application issues; provide go-live and post-go-live support
• Maintain documentation for system builds, workflows, and change requests
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and safety standards (e.g., Joint Commission, medication safety best practices)
• Participate in upgrades, patches, and new module implementations
• Serve as a liaison between pharmacy operations and IT teams
