Job summary

Insight Global seeks a Pharmacy Informatics professional to bridge clinical pharmacy operations with Epic technology in New Jersey. The ideal candidate is a licensed pharmacist with inpatient workflow experience andEpic Willow expertise to drive system-wide pharmacy improvements.

You will partner with pharmacists, physicians, nursing leaders, and IT to optimize workflows, enhance patient safety, and support BPAs and CDS tools across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Active New Jersey Registered Pharmacist (RPh) license.
• 3+ years in pharmacy informatics, Epic analyst, healthcare IT, or application support.
• Epic Willow Certification (or applicable Epic Pharmacy certification).
• Experience supporting BPAs and clinical decision support tools.

Responsibilities

• Bridge clinical pharmacy operations with Epic technology to optimize workflows.
• Partner with pharmacists, physicians, nursing leaders, and IT teams to drive improvements.
• Lead workflow optimization and patient safety initiatives across the system.
• Support and optimize pharmacy interfaces, dispensing technologies, and ADCs.

Insight Global is looking for a Pharmacy Informatics professional who can bridge the gap between clinical pharmacy operations and Epic technology. The ideal candidate is a licensed pharmacist with hands-on experience in inpatient medication management workflows and a strong understanding of how medications move through ordering, verification, dispensing, administration, and monitoring processes. Candidates with Epic Willow Inpatient experience, pharmacy informatics backgrounds, or experience supporting BPAs, pharmacy interfaces, dispensing technologies, and clinical decision support systems will stand out. They need someone who can effectively partner with pharmacists, physicians, nursing leaders, and IT teams while driving workflow optimization, patient safety initiatives, and system-wide pharmacy improvements.

Skills and Requirements

• Active New Jersey Registered Pharmacist (RPh) License
• BS Pharmacy or PharmD
• Epic Willow Certification (or applicable Epic Pharmacy certification)
• 3+ years of pharmacy informatics, Epic analyst, healthcare IT, or application support experience
• Strong knowledge of inpatient pharmacy workflows, medication ordering, verification, dispensing, and clinical monitoring
• Experience supporting Epic build, workflow analysis, configuration, and optimization
• Understanding of pharmacy integrations, interfaces, and medication management systems
• Experience working directly with pharmacists, physicians, and clinical operations teams
• Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving skills
• Epic Willow Inpatient Certification
• Pharmacy Informatics experience
• Experience supporting BestPractice Advisories (BPAs) and clinical decision support tools
• Experience with medication dispensing systems, ADCs, IV workflow, or pharmacy automation
• Knowledge of pharmacy interfaces and integrated third-party systems
• 2+ years of project management experience
• Experience supporting systems beyond Epic
