Job summary

Shannon Health is seeking an Epic Trainer to conduct training for clinical and non-clinical end users on Epic Systems applications. The role includes classroom and practice-based training under guidance of a Training Manager, with responsibilities for class setup, materials, and proficiency assessments.

Responsibilities include aligning training with organizational goals, coordinating with project teams, maintaining policy documentation, and supporting new hires and software releases.

Qualifications

• One year of experience or knowledge in clinical workflow, practice standards and documentation requirements.
• One year of experience in a healthcare setting.
• Epic certification must be obtained within ninety (90) days of completion of the assigned required training classes.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement training programs and materials to support users of Epic applications and clinical information systems.
• Maintain training materials, policy documentation, and coordinate training for new software releases.
• Set up and set down training classes, inventory participant supplies, and coordinate class evaluations.
• Support trainers within the organization and contribute to the training environment and testing efforts.
