Job summary

Cook Children's Health Care System in Fort Worth, TX seeks an Epic Technical Manager to lead the design, implementation and support of theEpic technical architecture. You will provide strategic technical guidance to the Epic Technical Team and coordinate cross-functional efforts across hardware, OS, virtualization, storage and security.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• Minimum 8 years in information technology with infrastructure focus.
• 3 years in a supervisory or management role; strong leadership in matrix teams.
• Expert knowledge of healthcare industry; health-care environment experience preferred.
• Epic experience or certifications (Epic certified ECSA or Epic Security) within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation and support of the Epic technical architecture.
• Provide leadership to the Epic Technical Team and coordinate hardware/software for Epic infra.
• Oversee Epic security, disaster recovery planning and implementation requirements.
• Collaborate with Epic and Enterprise Architecture teams to ensure performance.
