Renown Health in Reno, NV seeks a Supervisor of IT - Epic Tapestry to provide strategic, operational, and technical leadership for the Epic Tapestry team supporting health plan administration functions.

The role leads a multidisciplinary team, oversees day-to-day application support, system optimization, and project delivery, and partners with Kaiser Permanente Nevada, Hometown Health and IT stakeholders to meet regulatory needs.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in health, science or business.
5+ years IT/healthcare industry experience.
Experience with Epic Tapestry or similar health plan administration systems.
Strong leadership and team-building skills.

Responsibilities

Lead, coach, and develop the Epic Tapestry application team.
Oversee daily support, maintenance, optimization, and project delivery.
Support claims, authorizations, utilization management, benefits, enrollment, premium billing, and provider network workflows.
Partner with Kaiser Permanente Nevada, Hometown Health, operational leaders, and IT teams to align priorities and resolve issues.
Manage incidents, service requests, system changes, testing, upgrades, and production readiness.
Establish clear priorities, balance team capacity, and ensure timely completion of work.
Maintain compliance with IT governance, security, documentation, and change-control standards.
Identify risks, dependencies, and improvement opportunities, escalating issues when appropriate.
