Job summary

Chartis is seeking an Epic Tapestry Applications Manager on a 4–5 month contract to lead the Epic Tapestry team in designing, implementing, and maintaining payer and managed care capabilities within Epic.

You will partner with business, clinical, IT, and executives to align solutions with priorities, regulatory needs, and organizational strategy while mentoring analysts and coordinating cross-team efforts.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Epic application experience, especially Tapestry.
• Experience leading an Epic application team is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of payer, managed care, and claims workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Epic Tapestry applications team.
• Oversight of Managed Care Administration, Utilization Management, Contracts, Membership, Benefits, and Provider Management workflows.
• Partner with IT and business leaders to set priorities and roadmaps.
• Oversee design, configuration, testing, upgrades, and production support.
• Ensure Epic builds follow governance, standards, and best practices.
• Manage project scope, timelines, resources, risks, and deliverables.
• Mentor analysts and guide complex build and troubleshooting.
• Coordinate across Epic teams and integrations for cross-app dependencies.
• Translate business requirements into effective Epic solutions with stakeholders.
• Escalate and resolve high-priority application and operational issues.
• Support upgrades, testing, go-lives, and stabilization efforts.
• Monitor team performance, stability, and service levels.
