Job summary

Chartis is seeking an Epic Tapestry Applications Manager for a 4- to 5-month contract to lead the Epic Tapestry application team supporting payer and managed care operations. The role requires strong Epic Tapestry expertise and team leadership across design, testing, and production support.

The position partners with business, clinical, IT, and executive stakeholders to drive strategy, governance, and value delivery. A Bachelor’s degree and 5+ years’ Epic experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in IT, healthcare administration, business or related field.
• 5+ years of Epic application experience, especially with Epic Tapestry.
• Previous experience leading an Epic application team is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of managed care, payer, health plan, utilization management, provider and claims workflows.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the Epic Tapestry applications team, including analysts, consultants, and other supporting resources.
• Oversee Epic Tapestry functionality across modules such as Managed Care Administration, Utilization Management, Contracts, Membership, and Benefits.
• Partner with operational and IT leadership to set priorities, strategy, and roadmaps.
• Oversee design, configuration, testing, implementation, upgrades, optimization, and production support.
• Ensure Epic builds and workflows follow governance, best practices, and production standards.
• Manage application-related projects: scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and deliverables.
• Mentor Epic analysts and coordinate with other Epic teams on integrations.
• Translate business requirements into effective Epic solutions with stakeholders.
