Job summary

Avera Health Plans Inc is seeking a Configuration Analyst to design, implement, and support the Epic Tapestry module, managing plan administration, benefits, and provider data. You will convert benefit plans into configurations, collaborate with clinical and operational teams, and ensure system performance aligns with regulatory requirements.

Ideal candidates have Epic Tapestry certification, strong analytical skills, and experience in healthcare payer operations.

Qualifications

• Epic Certification required; must pass within 90 days of hire.
• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
• Epic Tapestry Certification with 3+ years of experience preferred.
• Experience with complex system design and CMS/HIPAA regulations is a plus.

Responsibilities

• System Configuration & Optimization: Build, test, implement, and maintain Epic Tapestry components and workflows.
• System Support & Troubleshooting: Diagnose issues, perform root-cause analysis, and document results.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with clinical, operational, and IT teams to align configurations.
• Requirement Analysis & Data management: Translate plan documents to technical specs and ensure data integrity.
