Job summary

NORTH EAST MEDICAL SERVICES in Daly City, CA is seeking an intermediate Epic Application Analyst to drive the ongoing development, implementation, and support of Epic Systems across clinical and operational workflows.

Ideal candidates hold a BA/BS with 1–2 years of healthcare experience (or 4 years), Epic certification in modules such as EpicCare Ambulatory, Prelude, or Cadence, and strong communication skills to collaborate with clinicians, IT, and operations.

Qualifications

  • BA/BS required with 1–2 years of experience or 4 years healthcare experience.
  • Epic certification in at least one module (EpicCare Ambulatory, Prelude, Cadence).
  • Previous Epic Application Analyst experience.
  • Strong understanding of healthcare workflows and processes.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Ability to work rotating after-hours and Saturdays as needed.
  • Knowledge of Agile/JIRA is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and participate in the implementation of Epic modules and applications.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to analyze requirements and design solutions.
  • Configure and customize Epic applications based on organizational needs.
  • Provide ongoing support for Epic applications, including issue resolution and troubleshooting.
  • Monitor system performance and make recommendations for optimization.
