Job summary

OCHIN, Inc. is hiring a Solutions Developer to design, build, test, and implement software features and integrations. You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners to resolve issues and optimize applications across our national provider network.

The role emphasizes deep Epic system expertise, integration work, and leading technical sessions. A strong background in Healthcare IT and at least 4 years of relevant experience are required for a successful candidate in a fully remote

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree (Healthcare Informatics or Computer Science preferred) or 5+ years of relevant experience.
• 4+ years of experience in a similar or relevant role.
• Epic Experience required.
• Experience building integrations between external systems/applications with Epic.
• Knowledge of interoperability standards is highly preferred.
• One or more Epic certifications/proficiencies are preferred.
• Work history in Healthcare IT is required.
• Track record of identifying issues and pro-actively solving them with an innovative mindset.
• Served as SME on a portfolio of products including technical architecture and enhancement opportunities.
• Experience serving as Level 3 (final level) of customer support across technical and customer facing teams.
• Competency assessment (50–60 minutes) before team interview.

Responsibilities

• Develop and test new features, integrations and enhancements according to design specifications and requirements.
• Deeply understand aligned products, integrations, or software with OCHIN systems.
• Lead working sessions with members, vendors, or staff to design/create application solutions that fit operational needs.
• Perform complex build and configuration with a demonstrated ability to complete development.
• Provide mentorship and training to team members, fostering skill development in technical design and system enhancements.
• Other duties as assigned.
