Job summary

Job Description:

The Senior Analyst will work on Epic ambulatory, ancillary,in-patient, or revenue cycle healthcare applications systems todevelop, implement, troubleshoot, upgrade and support, and evaluateapplication effectiveness. This position will lead major healthcareapplications, project development, design and implementation,maintenance, and problem-solving on assigned applications. Providesexcellent customer service to customers and may represent thedepartment with other hospital departments and vendors.

Minimum Qualifications:

Graduation from an accredited college or university with abachelor's degree in business administration, managementinformation systems, computer science, or healthcare. 4 years as anapplication analyst in lieu of a degree will be accepted.

  • Five (5) years of progressively responsible paid experience in ahealthcare environment as an Epic-certified analyst.
  • Current Epic certification in one or multiple of Epic'sapplications
  • Participated in two (2) or more Epic new implementations as anEpic-certified analyst. In lieu of 2 implementations, ten (10)years of application analyst experience.
  • Experience and proven success in Epic Clinical Systemsimplementation, development, and support within a healthcareorganization
  • Experience in design, building, testing, and implementation ofEpic's and other healthcare vendors’ ambulatory, ancillary,inpatient or revenue cycle applications.
  • The role requires advanced technical skills and the ability totranslate healthcare data into actionable insights.
  • Knowledge of clinical processes, documentation needs, workflows,and clinical practice standards, with in-depth, expert knowledge ofthe Epic product
  • Experience in a hospital or outpatient healthcare setting, with theability to do clinical processes and procedures required. Theability to effectively understand and communicate with all levelsof clinical providers and support services is required.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods of healthcare organizations andmanagement; healthcare applications and capabilities; patientprocessing and clinical systems; hospital/healthcare financialservices processes and procedures; hospital or clinic-based patientprocessing and medical records processes and procedures, principlesof project management desired.
