Our team includes specialists from NCI–designated Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, Desai Sethi Urology Institute, and top-ranked neurology and neurosurgery programs.

UHealth at SoLé Mia is seeking a Full-time Epic Senior Analyst, Lab Information Systems (Clinical Pathology) with a start date in December 2024. The role supports multiple sites, including the new satellite office at SoLé Mia.

Responsibilities include:

1. Collaborating with stakeholders and team members to optimize application configuration and access.
2. Serving as the primary support contact for end-users.
3. Designing, developing, implementing, and maintaining applications, including Epic.
4. Testing and documenting workflow designs.
5. Analyzing clinical IT processes and workflows.
6. Identifying and resolving issues.
7. Supporting junior staff with service tickets, application changes, data retrieval, and operations.
8. Developing documentation and training for application updates.
9. Ensuring applications meet clinical needs.
10. Participating in on-call rotations and committees.
11. Communicating regularly with team and leadership.
12. Maintaining knowledge of policies and safeguarding assets.

Department-specific functions:

• Travel to job sites for go-lives, conferences, and meetings.
• Participate in rounding, reporting, and committee activities.
• Foster a positive team environment and culture of continuous improvement.
• Partner with IT teams for service development.
• Act as project manager for certain projects as needed.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Problem solving, dependability, critical thinking, stakeholder management skills.

Core Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in relevant field.
• Epic Beaker (CP) Certification preferred.
• Data Innovation experience preferred.
• Minimum 3 years relevant experience, 5 years preferred, especially in healthcare.

• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Leadership and training ability.
• Experience with lab workflows, regulatory requirements, Epic modules, and clinical pathology preferred.
• Previous Epic Beaker CP implementation experience and certification preferred.
