The University of Miami UHealth – Department of Radiology- at SoLé Mia has an exciting opportunity for a full time Chief Mammography Technologist.

CORE JOB FUNCTIONS

• Plans, assigns, supervises, and reviews the work of staff involved in mammography services delivery.

• Supervises and performs diagnostic imaging studies.

• Coordinates activities with departmental staff to assure maximum effect, minimize duplication, and enhance better utilization of resources.

• Assists in the development of in-service training for departmental staff.

• Establishes priorities for research development and monitors progress.

• Provides assistance in the compilation of statistical data.

• Assists with the preparation of the annual departmental budget and development of administrative and operational policies, procedures, and regulations.

• Makes recommendations regarding hire, discipline, and promotion of subordinates.

• Establishes and continuously assesses the effectiveness of the internal controls within the unit and compliance with University policies and procedures.

• Ensures employees are trained on controls within the function and on University policy and procedures.
