Job summary

NLB Services seeks an Epic Security Analyst to safeguard access to the EHR and manage Epic user records, templates, and security classes. The role includes life cycle tasks and audits to protect information integrity and confidentiality.

You will work with IS teams to deploy security changes and optimize Epic security configurations. Qualifications include a Bachelor’s degree and Epic Security certification.

Qualifications

• Must be certified in Epic Security.
• Experience with Epic user security and provider management.
• Knowledge of RBAC and access control concepts.
• Experience with Epic Application template build is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform user account life cycle management (create, provision, update, inactivate).
• Plan, test, and manage security for EHR access and protection.
• Act as SME for Epic User Security and Schedulable Epic Resources.
• Assist with updates, evaluations of new technology, and security settings.
• Troubleshoot security/workflow issues with IS teams and stakeholders.
• Develop and support RBAC implementations and security documentation.
• Ensure evidence of authorization is archived per standards.
