Job summary

Columbia University Irving Medical Center is seeking an Assistant Director for Clinical Research Solutions to oversee Epic Research features, including evaluation, implementation, testing, maintenance, and dissemination within CUIMC's research community.

The role serves as central intake for Epic research questions, coordinating with IT PMO and cross-functional teams to standardize workflows and ensure regulatory-compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required with 5+ years in clinical research systems, health analytics, or PM.
• Epic Research certifications required or to be completed within 6 months of hire.
• Strong project management skills with cross-functional teams.
• Excellent organizational and prioritization abilities.
• Effective written and oral communication across diverse groups.
• MS Office (Word & Excel) proficiency; willingness to learn new systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead Epic research program management with scope, timelines, and quality improvements.
• Maintain roadmap and inventory of Epic tools & capabilities.
• Coordinate with stakeholders for interfaces with EDC, REDCap, and Clinical Trial Management systems; manage execution.
• Develop governance model with leadership and user advisory committees.
• Monitor metrics: intake, resolution time, user satisfaction, adoption; report to senior leadership.
• Support training programs and potential service models for Epic research.
