Job summary

Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa seeks an Epic Research Director to lead design, implementation, and ongoing optimization of Epic research modules within the EHR to support trial workflows and research administration.

You will oversee a technical Epic research team, drive cross-functional collaboration with clinical research, IT, and operations, manage budgets, vendor relationships, and regulatory compliance, and champion adoption of new EHR capabilities.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in healthcare IT with 8+ years in Epic environments.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Healthcare Administration.
• 5+ years of leadership experience in IT healthcare settings.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Epic Research design, implementation, and optimization for research workflows.
• Collaborate with clinical research, operational, and IT stakeholders to design workflows.
• Mentor and manage the Epic research team; oversee budgets, vendors, and governance.
• Ensure regulatory and compliance standards including HIPAA and CMS are met.
