Job summary

Baton Rouge General is seeking a clinical informatics professional with Radiology experience to bridge Information Systems and Patient Care across the hospital network. You will coordinate planning, development, training, implementation, evaluation, and maintenance of clinical systems, serving as a key liaison between IS and Patient Care.

Strong bedside care background and Louisiana Radiology Tech license are preferred.

Qualifications

Clinical experience in radiology healthcare environment.
Bedside patient care preferred.
Analyst II requires 2+ years in clinical/healthcare informatics.

Responsibilities

Coordinate planning, development, training, implementation, evaluation, and maintenance of assigned clinical systems.
Serve as a clinical liaison between IS and Patient Care areas.
Educate clinical staff on clinical applications within the IS.
Assist users with identifying causes and solutions for computer-related issues.
Collaborate on developing training materials for clinical staff.
Provide cross-training for IS team members on clinical applications.
Evaluate enhancement/change requests and communicate feasibility and outcomes.
Maintain day-to-day functionality and security of clinical applications.
Support system testing prior to implementation.
Stay current with healthcare technology trends.
