Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking an EPIC Project Manager – Epic to support a migration with an academic medical center and integrated health system in Philadelphia. This hybrid role offers a 6+ month contract-to-hire opportunity within a large-scale Epic transformation.

Candidates must have 5+ years of healthcare IT project management experience and strong Epic experience, with ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage risks. Hybrid work in the Tri-State area is expected.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Project Management experience within healthcare IT.
• Experience supporting Epic implementations, upgrades, optimizations, or migrations.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional leadership skills.
• Ability to manage timelines, risks, dependencies, and executive communications.
• Experience working within large health systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate Epic workstreams across inpatient, ambulatory, and ancillary domains.
• Collaborate with clinical and IT stakeholders to ensure successful migrations and Go-Live.
• Develop and manage project plans, risk registers, and communication plans.
• Coordinate testing, cutover activities, training, and support readiness.
• Ensure adherence to enterprise project delivery standards and governance.

Required Qualifications:
