Job summary

Adventist HealthCare seeks an experienced Associate Vice President of Epic Project Management to lead Epic implementation workstreams, coordinate cross-functional teams, and ensure patient safety and operational readiness during go-live and stabilization. The AVP will guide budgeting, staffing, and vendor coordination, escalating risks as needed.

The role requires strong governance, communication skills, and extensive knowledge of Epic, interfaces, data strategies, and long‑term support

Qualifications

  • Leadership experience overseeing large, complex IT projects in healthcare.
  • Proven ability to govern project scope, schedule, risk, and budgets.
  • Experience coordinating multiple stakeholders including clinical, IT, vendors, and legal.

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall leadership and direction for Epic implementation workstreams.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, manage risks, and ensure go-live and stabilization success.
  • Develop governance, communication plans, and executive updates for stakeholders.
