Job summary

Peer Consulting, LLC seeks an Epic Project Director to lead planning and implementation of Epic within a large, integrated outpatient environment. The role oversees transition to production through optimization and directs resources, budget, and organizational change management across the enterprise.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in healthcare IT project work, experience with multiple Epic implementations, and advanced degrees or clinical credentials; PMP certification is a plus.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of healthcare IT project leadership experience.
• Experience with multiple Epic implementations required.
• BS/BA, MS/MBA and clinical credentials preferred; PMP certification desirable.

Responsibilities

• Procuress and directs all project resources, including IT, sourced operations, vendors and consultants.
• Directs the operating budget for the project and oversees adherence to projections.
• Directs P&P development.
• Directs disaster planning.
• Plans for enterprise readiness for production, including training and organizational change management.
• Stays current with technology, regulatory and application trends, ensuring correct critical path interactions with the project.
• Mentors subordinate management team.
