Epic Implementation Project Director – FLEXIBLE LOCATION (Travel required)

Impact Advisors, LLC is a nationally recognized healthcare management consulting firm delivering Best in KLAS advisory, implementation, and optimization services. Impact Advisors is seeking a dynamic and motivated Epic Implementation Project Director to join our team.

As an experienced Epic Implementation Project Director at Impact Advisors, you’ll develop, implement, and communicate Epic project strategies, plans and processes, including leading large-scale Epic implementations and managing client relationships. You will work with client implementation teams at major healthcare organizations to ensure Epic Implementations are fully staffed and timelines are met. You’ll foster excellent communications, strong teamwork, and customer service so that the organization(s) you support can deliver world‑class patient care.

Responsibilities
  • Take projects from dream to delivery.
  • Manage medium to large‑scale projects with medium to high complexity, including planning, budgeting, resource management, deliverables development, timelines, issues and risks.
  • Develop new business within the project, identify new business elsewhere in the client environment and assist with developing proposals, RFPs, etc.
  • Utilize Epic Systems for several years, manage multiple implementations and cross‑functional teams, and hold certification in at least one Epic module.
  • Contribute knowledge gained through other healthcare vendor knowledge, certifications and/or credentials.
  • Travel to client sites as necessary to perform required tasks.
  • Interact with all levels of healthcare professionals and staff in one‑on‑one and group settings.
Qualifications
  • 6+ years of experience of successful Epic implementations.
  • 6+ years of experience managing medium to large‑scale projects with medium to high complexity, including planning, budgeting, resource management, deliverables development, timelines, issues and risks.
  • 6+ years of experience developing new business within the project, identifying new business elsewhere in the client environment and assisting with developing proposals, RFPs, etc.
  • Experience utilizing Epic Systems for several years, managing multiple implementations and cross‑functional teams, and holding certification in at least one Epic module.
  • Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent).
  • Current or prior Epic Certification is preferred.
Required Skills and Competencies
  • Proven experience leading Epic implementations.
  • Ability to interact with all levels of healthcare professionals and staff.
  • Planning, budgeting, communicating issues and risks.
Additional Information
  • Ability to travel up to 75%, as needed.
  • Work schedule is typically M‑F.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Salary range: $175,000 – $250,000, with possible annual discretionary bonus. Eligible for annual performance bonus.
