Job summary

UCSF Health is seeking a Team Lead to provide technical and people leadership for a team supporting Epic Professional Billing and Claims applications across the Community Affiliate business. The role blends hands-on application knowledge with leadership across projects, ensuring high-quality delivery and ongoing team development.

The Team Lead will be primary escalation for issues, guide enhancement reviews, assist with scoping, and participate in Epic TS meetings, ensuring efficient workflows

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in health IT, computer science, or related area.
• Epic Resolute Professional Billing Administration Certification.
• 5 years of related clinical applications experience.
• Broad knowledge of clinical applications domains including design, development, and testing.
• Strong problem-resolution and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day activities of the Professional Billing/Claims Affiliate team with clear priorities and timely deliverables.
• Mentor and develop analysts by sharing knowledge of workflows, processes, and best practices.
• Drive cross-team collaboration and lead complex decision-making aligned with organizational goals.
• Identify risks, facilitate conflict resolution, and ensure project objectives are met with quality and efficiency.
• Coordinate work across initiatives to maintain integrated Epic implementation and support.
