Job summary

Ardent Health in Brentwood, Tennessee, seeks a Level II IT Systems Analyst to support Epic Professional Billing and revenue-cycle applications. You will analyze workflows, design, build, test, install and maintain application solutions while collaborating with end users and IT teams.

The role requires a BA/BS or equivalent, 3+ years in Revenue Cycle/IT, and strong communication skills. On-site, with potential for additional responsibilities, training, and on-call support as part of the team.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Revenue Cycle, operations, or IT systems support.
• Proven ability to translate business issues into application solutions.
• Strong understanding of application technology and system design.
• Epic Professional Billing Admin certification (preferred).
• 1.5 years of IT experience with implementing and supporting applications (preferred).
• Epic go-live experience with onsite/remote support (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Translate revenue cycle workflows into application and technology designs.
• Analyze release notes and specs to identify impact; plan upgrades.
• Identify gaps between current and future state processes for IT applications.
• Manage project tasks to meet timelines; communicate risks.
• Communicate clearly with internal and external customers; handle sensitive information tactfully.
• Assist with interface definitions to third-party systems and end-to-end workflows.
• Analyze and troubleshoot problems; propose solutions with minimal supervision.
• Support business continuity planning and disaster recovery measures.
• Participate in after-hours On-Call rotation.
