Job summary

Ardent Health in Brentwood, TN is seeking a Level II IT Systems Analyst to develop, configure, and support Epic Professional Billing (PB) revenue-cycle applications across the health system. The analyst will explore workflows, data, and technical documents, then design, build, test, install and maintain PB solutions.

Responsibilities include upgrading functionality, evaluating gaps to future state, and creating end-to-end workflows around interfaces with third-party systems.

Qualifications

• BA/BS degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years of experience in Revenue Cycle, IT systems support, or operations.
• Strong ability to translate business issues into application solutions.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office 365.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Translates revenue cycle workflows into application designs.
• Analyzes application release notes to identify impact and plan upgrades.
• Evaluates current state processes and identifies gaps to future state goals.
• Manages assigned project tasks to keep on schedule and escalates risks as needed.
• Communicates technical information clearly to internal and external customers.
• Assists with defining and implementing interfaces with third-party systems.
• Analyses and troubleshoots problems and proposes solutions with minimal guidance.
• Participates in business continuity planning and disaster recovery measures.
• Participates in after-hours On-Call rotation.
