Job summary

The University of Miami Health System (UHealth) IT Department seeks a full-time Epic Senior Analyst for Optime/Anesthesia to lead configuration, testing, and optimization of Epic OpTime and Anesthesia modules for clinical workflows.

You will collaborate with stakeholders, train staff, mentor junior analysts, and participate in on-call rotations while ensuring regulatory and security standards. This role supports patient care across South Florida and beyond.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT, healthcare informatics, or related field.
• Epic Optime/Anesthesia Certification required.
• Additional Epic certifications preferred.
• Minimum 5 years supporting Epic applications.
• Evenings/nights/weekends as necessary.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Optimize Epic OpTime/Anesthesia configuration and workflow.
• Provide primary end-user support and issue resolution.
• Lead design, testing, deployment, and maintenance activities.
• Develop documentation and training materials with teams.
• Mentor junior analysts and support ticket resolution.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and leadership on progress.
• Participate in on-call rotations and committees.
