Job summary

Nicklaus Children's Health System is seeking an IT professional to support Epic non-clinical applications (Scheduling, Registration, Charges, HIM). You will assess, design, implement, and support solutions across multiple Epic modules while maintaining high standards and timelines.

You will mentor teams, lead upgrade initiatives, and provide on-site go-live support. A strong background in healthcare IT and change management is required to drive successful project delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4 years of IT experience in a technical role.
• Epic non-clinical certifications in 2 modules.
• 4–7 years of experience with implementations for large organizations.
• 4–7 years of experience in change management for IT projects.
• 5 years of direct experience in healthcare information systems development and support.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and configure Epic non-clinical modules (Scheduling, Registration, Charges, HIM).
• Translate user requirements into functional/technical specifications.
• Mentor local and client-based team members.
• Lead small to medium Epic upgrade initiatives and workflow enhancements.
• Provide on-site support during go-lives and upgrades.
• Analyze workflows and data, identify issues, and support data quality.
