Job summary

Nicklaus Children’s Hospital in Florida is seeking an Epic Non-Clinical Analyst IV to support the Epic Non-Clinical applications, including Scheduling, Registration, Charges, and Health Information Management. The role focuses on planning, building, testing, and maintaining these solutions to meet client needs.

You will translate user requirements into IT designs, mentor team members, and guide small- to medium-scale Epic upgrade initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Systems or related major (or 4 years of IT experience in a technical role).
• Epic non-clinical certifications in 2 modules.
• 4-7 years of experience implementing for large organizations.
• 5 years of direct experience in healthcare information systems development, implementation, and supporting clinical application systems.
• Experience with change management processes for IT projects.

Responsibilities

• Maintains patient access related configuration changes to industry and client standards; ensures build quality and timelines.
• Translates user requirements into functional/IT design specifications and reviews with clients.
• Mentor/subject matter expert to local and client-based teams.
• Leads small to medium Epic upgrade initiatives or workflow enhancements through design, build, and test phases.
• Provides on-site support during go-lives and system upgrades.
• Performs in-depth analysis of workflows, data collection, and Epic system issues.
• Takes ownership of projects from inception to delivery and coordinates multiple projects.
• Supports governance, data definitions, policies, and data quality.
• Sets processes and influences technology frameworks.
