Job summary

Hartford HealthCare in Farmington, CT is seeking a Functional Architect to lead Epic Professional Billing initiatives and guide the application team through complex integration, testing, and builds. The Architect will partner with Revenue Cycle, vendors, and ITS teams to ensure on-time delivery, maintain documentation, and provide go-live support while mentoring peers and driving

Qualifications

• Epic Professional Billing expertise and integration knowledge.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Healthcare IT.
• 4–6 years of Epic IT experience and 2+ years leading projects.

Responsibilities

• Guide and support application teams; triage requests and scope projects.
• Manage project intake, timelines, and status updates.
• Coordinate with vendors and Epic teams for builds and issue resolution.
• Develop and maintain system design and build documentation.
• Perform testing (unit/system/integrated) and validate configurations.
• Provide on-call support and go-live assistance.
• Mentor teammates and promote process improvement.
