Role Summary

We are seeking a skilled Epic Integration Architect with a deep understanding of Digital Health applications, including clinical intake, check-in, Pre-op, Post-op, and discharge workflows. The candidate will lead the design, development, and implementation of Epic integration solutions to enhance healthcare delivery and operational workflows.

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead and architect integration of Epic modules with Digital Health applications related to clinical workflows.
2. Collaborate with clinical and operational teams to assess needs and optimize workflows.
3. Design, develop, and implement HL7, FHIR, and API-based integrations ensuring seamless data flow.
4. Conduct gap analysis and troubleshoot Epic integration issues, working with IT and clinical stakeholders.
5. Stay updated on Epic functionalities and best practices, advising on system enhancements.
6. Mentor junior team members, promoting knowledge sharing and standardization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Healthcare IT, or related field; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 8 years in healthcare IT, with at least 5 years focused on Epic integration for Digital Health applications.
• Epic Integration Certification in modules like Prelude, Cadence, or Ambulatory preferred.
• Proficiency in HL7, FHIR, RESTful APIs, scripting languages (Python, JavaScript).
• Strong understanding of clinical workflows, Epic configuration, and healthcare data security (HIPAA, HITECH).
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills

Experience & Languages

• Healthcare IT consulting, Cybersecurity experience preferred.
