Job summary

Nordic is seeking a Principal Consultant to provide consulting services on Epic implementation projects in a leadership capacity. You will drive strategic initiatives, oversee multi-workstream implementations, and partner with the Epic team to enable sales opportunities and solution delivery for Nordic clients.

The role requires deep healthcare systems experience, Epic certification(s), strong communication, and a proactive, team-oriented mindset. Travel to client sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• At least one Epic certification preferred.
• 15+ years of experience with healthcare systems.
• 5+ years Epic implementation experience at director/project-management level.
• Direct experience working for Epic preferred.
• Rev Cycle experience and/or new Epic add-on module experience preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong customer service attitude and skillset.
• Self-starter with ability to meet deadlines and monitor own work product.
• Proven ability to thrive in a team culture with ethics, respect, and collaboration.
• Experience talking with C-suite and senior leadership.
• Sales experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Outlook, Excel).

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic project oversight and delivery across multiple workstreams.
• Lead cross-functional teams with Nordic and client stakeholders.
• Manage budgets, milestones, and change management processes.
• Present at executive-level meetings with independence and confidence.
• Develop and maintain strategy documents, plans, risk trackers, and reports.
• Mentor and coach project teams; onboard new members.
• Contribute to sales enablement and solution material development.
• Deliver lessons learned and knowledge transfer to clients and internal teams.
• Travel to client sites as needed.
