Job summary
Huron Consulting Services LLC is seeking a Hospital Billing Senior Consultant to optimize Epic Hospital Billing workflows, build configurations, and improve revenue cycle outcomes. You will work remotely on client engagements, delivering hands-on builds, testing, and optimization across complex billing scenarios.
The role requires Epic Hospital Billing certification and deep HB generalist experience, with a focus on denials, RMC optimization, and automation opportunities to improve care delivery
Qualifications
- Epic Hospital Billing certification is required.
- Strong Epic HB generalist experience.
- Hands-on experience with Epic Hospital Billing configuration, build, and testing.
- Experience with HB workqueues, billing edits, and Revenue Cycle optimization.
- Ability to work independently in a remote consulting environment.
Responsibilities
- Support Epic Hospital Billing workflow and system configuration optimization.
- Complete hands-on Epic build and testing.
- Optimize Hospital Billing workqueues (WQs) and billing edits.
- Support denials and Revenue Management Center (RMC) optimization.
- Reporting using Reporting Workbench, Radar, and SlicerDicer.
- Identify and implement opportunities to leverage Epic native automation capabilities within Hospital Billing.
