Insight Global is seeking an experienced Epic HIM Analyst to support the implementation, optimization, and ongoing maintenance of Epic HIM applications. The role requires hands-on experience with Coding/Abstracting, Identity Management, ROI, and Deficiency Tracking to ensure efficient workflows and system functionality.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of experience or 5 years of clinical system development without a bachelor's.
• Epic HIM Certification is required.
• Experience implementing Epic Health Information Applications: Coding/Abstracting, Identity, Release of Information (ROI), deficiency tracking.
• Understand fundamentals of project management, SDLC, ITSM, and ITIL process methodologies.
• Understanding of health care patient administration, clinical and business systems; experience with hospital systems and multi-project delivery.

Responsibilities

• Support the design, build, testing, implementation, and optimization of Epic HIM applications.
• Analyze and troubleshoot issues related to HIM workflows and system functionality.
• Gather business requirements and translate them into Epic application solutions.
• Configure and maintain Epic HIM modules including: Coding and Abstracting, Identity Management, ROI.
• Collaborate with HIM leadership, coding teams, compliance teams, and operational stakeholders to improve workflows and system adoption.
• Conduct system testing, validation, and upgrades to ensure application stability.
• Develop and maintain application documentation, workflows, and training materials.
• Provide end-user support and participate in issue resolution and system enhancement initiatives.
• Assist with integrations between Epic and third‑party HIM solutions.

Requirements:

• Epic Him Certification
• Experience implementing epic Health Information Applications: Coding/Abstracting, Identity, release of Information, deficiency Tracking.
• Understand fundamentals of project management, SDLC, ITSM, and ITIL process methodologies
• Understanding of health care patient administration, clinical and business systems and must have installed a minimum of one computer‑based hospital system and actively performed the following: process and workflow analysis, systems/applications analysis, project lifecycle implementation with in‑depth experience and training in a minimum of four discreet major projects
